This site doesn’t use cookies. Here’s what it keeps in your browser, and why it doesn’t need your consent.

This site doesn’t set any cookies, either its own or from other services inside the pages. Visits are counted anonymously, without cookies (the privacy page explains how); there are no ads, tracking pixels or social media buttons.

If the company that hosts the site ever set a technical security cookie to protect against attacks, it would be the kind the law allows without consent.

To remember the choices you make, the site uses your browser’s storage: checklist checkmarks, light or dark mode, large text, currency and units. It stays on your device and isn’t sent to any server.

The rules require consent for tools used for profiling, ads or analytics. They don’t require it for tools that are strictly necessary to give you the service you asked for, and that’s all this storage does. In the UK, the ICO explains this “strictly necessary” exemption; in the EU, the ePrivacy rules say the same.

In your browser settings, look for “site data” or “cookies and site data” and delete this site’s data. You can also clear checklist checkmarks with the “Clear all” button.
