Good to know
- Getting the deposit back takes time: the law names no deadline, the landlord may keep it for a reasonable time to check. Ask in writing after you move out.
- The deadlines run from move-in: two weeks for registration and for the landlord’s confirmation, three months’ notice, six months’ limitation of damage claims after return.
- The tips are general; what counts is your lease, the registration office and, in a dispute, a tenants’ association or legal advice.
